Individual Difference
Indvidual difference is affective factor as larner personalities can influence they experience to take risk in learning and using second language.
Language Aptitude
Language aptitude according to John.B.carrol and Stanley Sapon language aptitude refers to relative to other individuals, prediction of how well an individual can learner a foreign language in given. Or language aptitude is process natural ability for learning second language. John Carrol identification of language aptitude of parted component, these are:
  1. Phonemic coding ability, the ability of sound identify the sound of a foreign language can be remembered later or perceive distinct sounds. This ability also seen to handle sound symbol relationship. Example identifies sound th which stand for.
  2. Grammatical sensitivity, the ability recognizes the grammatical function of word in sentence or grammatical function of a lexical element (word, phrase) Example subject and object in sentence.
  3. Inductive language learning ability, the ability identify pattern of correspondence and relation between form and meaning or induce rules governing the structure of a language. Example in English “to” donate direction and “at” location.
  4. Rote learning ability, the ability form and remember association stimuli. This ability is believed to be important vocabulary learning.

Mentari Ku

Cuaca begitu gelap di pagi ini, padahal waktu telah menunjukan pukul 09.00 pagi. Rintik-rintik hujan pun mulai turun membasahi bumi ini, seakan-akan alam pun tahu begitu gelapnya hati ini dan selalu di hujani oleh air mata penyesalan dan kehancuran.
Kuraih bingkai dengan ukuran foto 2R itu, disana terlihat indahnya mentari pagi yang menyambut senyum indah dibibir mungilnya. Dia memang sangat cantik. Bodohnya aku yang tidak dapat menjaga hatinya.
“tok...tok...tok...” suara ketukan itu membuyarkan lamunan ku. “ Juna bangun dong, dah siang nih, mau ke kampus gak sih..?”, Terdengar suara Galuh dari luar kamar ku, Galuh adalah sahabat ku dan juga Shinta adalah mantan kekasih ku.
Dengan langkah lunglai ku letakkan kembali foto Shinta dan mengambil tas ku untuk pergi ke kampus.
Sesampai di kampus, hati ku sangat teriris, perih seakan tak ada arti lagi, ku punya hati tidak pantas rasanya diri ini. Ku melihat Shinta dengan senyum sederhananya, dan dia menyapaku. “masih pantaskah aku, kau sapa..?” tanyaku dalam hati, setelah begitu teganya aku menyakiti hati mu, menodai ketulusan, sayang dan cinta mu kepada ku.
“Eh, Bro...what happen..?”
“ayolah itu dia, please kejar Shinta..!” Perintah Galuh seraya menepuk pundak ku.
“Luh, aku rasa kamu tahu, itu sudah tidak mungkin banget..! ”
“Aku ini cowok naif, cowo egois, cowok jahat..”
“ Aku bukan orang yang pantas buat gadis berhati tulus sepertinya” Kata ku pada Galuh.
Galuh memang sahabat terbaik ku, dia selalu ingin orang-orang disekitarnya dapat bersikap optimis dan jangan pernah menyerah.
“ Jun....Kita ini hanya manusia biasa yang tidak lepas dari kesalahan, so please....temui dia sampaikan rasa maaf mu, ungkapkan rasa sayangmu”

DEIXIS
Deixis is relative to the (usually) extralinguistic context of the utterance is reference by means of an expression whose interpretation, such as:
·         Who is speaking
·         The time or place of speaking
·         The gesture (body language) the speaker
·         The current location in the discourse
Some sentences in English are impossible to understand if we don’t know who is speaking / whom / what / why / whose / which / where / when / how.  Example: “you’ll have to bring that back tomorrow because they aren’t here now”. The sentence the expression in read only understood in the immediate physical context in which they were spoken. Such expressions, which can only be understood in terms of the speaker’s intended meaning, are called deictic expression.
